Under Ben Bulben
“Under bare Ben Bulben’s head
In Drumcliff churchyard Yeats is laid.
An ancestor was rector there
Long years ago, a church stands near,
By the road an ancient cross.
No marble, no conventional phrase;
On limestone quarried near the spot
By his command these words are cut:
Cast a cold eye
On life, on death.
Horseman, pass by!
The Drumcliffe Tea House run since 1988 by Jill and team is located in a charming old world stable building. Surrounded on three sides by graves, including of course, that of W.B. Yeats, in an unusual but somehow rather perfect setting in Drumcliffe, Co Sligo.

Working there at weekends and during holidays, they learned life skills, as well as business ones, through dealing with the public.. The team has grown over the years with a wonderful group of friendly and enthusuastic baristas, cooks and servers to ensure your experience is memorable!
